President
Napster Division, Roxio, Inc.
Appointed President of Roxio‘s Napster division in January, 2004, after serving as Vice President, Worldwide Business Development for Roxio and its Napster subsidiary. In this capacity, he led Napster’s international expansion effort and the formation of strategic partnerships, including Samsung Electronics, Intel, and Gateway, and played a key role in the transaction and integration of the acquisition of pressplay.
Prior to that, he was Vice President Worldwide OEM Sales for Roxio, where he was responsible for relationships with PC manufacturers, drive manufacturers, camera manufacturers and other OEMs.
Prior to this role, he was Vice President of Business Development where he was instrumental in securing and developing strategic partnerships with, among others, Microsoft, Intel, EMI, pressplay and Audible.com and in expanding Roxio’s Digital Media offerings through the acquisition and integration of MGI Software.
Prior to joining Roxio, he served as Vice President, Corporate Development for PeopleSupport, a leading provider of integrated e-customer relationship management solutions.
A member of the State Bar of California, he has significant deal experience, much of which he acquired during his tenure as a corporate lawyer with the law firm O’Melveny & Myers LLP.
He holds a B.A. in Law and Society from the University of California at Santa Barbara, an M.B.A. in Finance and International Business from the University of Southern California, and a J.D. from the University of San Diego.
