On 10 April 2014, Neelie Kroes, Vice-President of the EC in charge of the Digital Agenda, gave a statement on the launch of a consultation on mHealth or mobile health by the European Commission in Brussels, Belgium. +On this occasion, the European Commission asked for help in finding ways to enhance the health and wellbeing of Europeans with the use of mobile devices, such as mobile phones, tablets, patient monitoring devices and other wireless devices.
